I was inspired recently to find and clean an old camera I had when I was very young. I probably last used it when I was about 9 years old - nearly 35 years ago!
It's a Halina 35x - I think it was cheap in its day but now you can pick them up really cheaply. It's heavy so the postage is likely to exceed the few quid it costs. Anyway, I've loaded it with ISO 125 black and white film.
The controls need a Herculean effort to move and there is nothing automatic on it - you can't even tell if your image is in focus. You've got to estimate the distance to the focal point of your shot, set the dial and shoot!
I'll post some of the results when I've finished the roll and had it developed - watch this space!
